Stella smiled. "Give me a minute, Taylor. I'm just sinking this all in. Seeing u all alone in that bed with no one to hold. Not yet at least." she said, before joining Mac in bed.

Mac chuckled. "Take your time. I'm still trying to wrap my head around you standing there, a girl all alone without a good man,"he said with a smirk.

Stella turned to her side to face Mac, her hand on her head and her other hand on Mac's hand. "A good man? Are u trying to match me up with someone? Maybe u know someone with those character traits." she joked before she kissed him.

Mac smiled and kissed her back. "Eh, I was never any real good at playing match maker, but I guess it is up to you to tell me if you know such a good man,"he said, joking along with her again.

Stella laid her hand on Mac's arm and looked into his beautiful blue eyes that just screamed holy hell. "Yes. I actually do. He's head of the crime lab and a very good cop. He cares about his department and his friends." she said.

Mac smiled softly. "Thin ice isn't any concern of mine when it's you I'm on it for,"he said. "I'd do what I did a million times over, take the heat from hell for you without a thought. That's what you are to me, Stell... You're literally everything to me... I couldn't do this without you."

Stella blushed a bit. "Ok before we get too excited, we have to look at the big overall picture. Is this truly what we want or are we just two friends who are desperate for something more, Mac?" she asked.
