Secrets || Danny

Stella nodded. "Just wanted to know. I'm glad we've mastered that." she said, placing her hand on Mac's arm.

Mac smiled softly. "Yeah. Me too,"he said, looking over at her. Damn it, he just loved her, every last thing about her.

Stella was silent for a moment. She was just thinking about the team, and of course, she was thinking about what Lucy had told Mac back at the hospital. Pretty smart for a girl her age to know what was going through Mac's mind. Out of all people, she was able to read his mind, which was pretty impressive. He loved Stella, and that's all that mattered to him. To make things better, she loved him back. "Do u think Danny is asking Lucy why she told u to ask u to marry me, Mac? Knowing Danny, it wouldn't surprise me one bit." she said.

Mac smirked at her suggestion of Danny asking little Lucy about what had happened back at the hospital. "I honestly have no idea. She's almost a little too young for Danny to be questioning her too thoroughly about what she's said,"he replied.

Stella laughed. "I wish I had been in the room when she asked u that question. Hell, I don't know how I would've reacted had I been present. But let's forget about that for now. What's important is we are crazy about each other and we love each other. Am I wrong or am I right?" she asked.

Mac smiled, smirking a little even. "Of course you're right, Stella,"He said. "Couldn't have said it better myself!"

Stella kissed Mac. She just loved him. Hell, he was sexy as hell and just plain stubborn but that didn't bother her. Ten years of working together got her used to his stubbornness. "U are amazing, Mac Taylor." she said.

Mac smiled and kissed her back. He always did like that when she didn't hint at it beforehand. Crazy in love, he was. "I think you're the amazing one, Stella."

Stella blushed. "Ok ok, I think we're getting a but too gushy here, Mac. But I do appreciate your compliments. U know u always look sexy as hell when u do that." she said.

Now Mac was the one blushing. "Oi, I thought we were quitting while we were ahead?"

Stella laughed and looked over at Mac. "Yeah, I guess we should. I just had to sneak in that one last compliment just to see the look on your face." she said.

Mac shot her one of his typical looks. "I'm grateful for that, Stella, I really am,"he said almost sarcastically, smirking a little afterwards.

Stella patted Mac on the back. "Of course u do, how could u not appreciate it, Mac?" she asked almost sarcastically.

Mac rolled his eyes. "Stella, Stella, Stella... What am I going to do about you?"

Stella shrugged her shoulders. "I'll leave that up to u, Mac." she joked.

Mac shook his head. "It was a rhetorical question, Stella..."he muttered, struggling with a smile and a laugh that had his shoulders shaking because he wasn't quite prepared to just flat out laugh at the moment, although she was certainly pushing him towards doing that.

Stella smirked. "U should've warned me that it was a rhetorical question, u pain in my neck!!! Otherwise I wouldn't have answered it!!" she said.

Now Mac couldn't help but just laugh. "The way you know me, my stubbornness, and my sarcasm, I thought you'd take the hint!"

Stella folded her arms and shrugged her shoulders. "Ok ok u win this time, but u better enjoy it while it lasts, because I'll think of a way to get u back for that one." she said.

Mac grinned. "I'll keep a good eye on my ass, thank you very much,"he said.

Stella glared at Mac playfully. "U bad bad boy, Mac Taylor!!" she said.

Mac chuckled. "I may be a bad, bad boy, but does that make me a bad man?"

Stella smirked as she inched close to Mac. "Oh you've always been known to be a bad man, Detective. But u know what I'm feeling like right now? I think that bedroom is calling our name." she said.

Mac smiled slyly and mischievously. "Oh, it's just killing me to stand here not listening,"he told her, nodding in agreement. He offered one of his hands to her. "So... that begs the question... Shall we?"

Stella took Mac's hand and smiled. "I think that's a good idea, my dear. Let's not waste any time." she said.
