Mac was still smiling when he looked over at Danny. "Literally like...half an hour ago,"he replied, chuckling a bit because he found it almost amusing that they'd only told each other about half an hour ago.

Danny nodded. "Boom!!! U broke your own rule, boss!! No dating in the workplace. But I guess some rules are meant to be broken." he said.

Mac smirked and eyed Danny. "I'm not the only one Messer, look at you and Lindsay,"he pointed out, smiling. "I think that specific rule was made to be broken."

Danny nodded. "Yeah well, I'm stubborn like that, u know? And plus, I couldn't keep my hands off her." he said.

Mac smiled softly. "Yeah, I know you couldn't!"he said. "You two were made for each other Danny, even I can see that as stubborn as I may be,"he added.

Mac smiled a bit, looking down at his hands. "Yeah...she's kept me in line for a while...not to mention helped me out in a million different ways,"he pointed out, looking back up at the few members of his team that were with him. He was just amazed at what amazing people he was lucky enough to know. Lucky enough that he could call them his friends.

Danny nodded. "Yeah, she really has and I couldn't do this job if it weren't for either of u guys. I mean, trust me when I say this, u know how hard it was to keep our secret from the team? But that's beside the point, point is, when one team member goes down, we all go down, if I get my drift." he said.

The rest of the team showed up. "Hey boss, looking good, if I may say so myself. Is there a reason Stella's holding your hand?" Adam asked.

Mac smiled a bit. "Thanks, I feel a bit better as well, and yes, yes there is,"he said, looking over at Stella. "You're turn to break the news,"he told her.

Stella smiled and tried very hard not to cry. "Adam, Lindsay, I feel like a high school girl breaking the news to her friends. Mac and I, I have no idea how it happened but we confessed our love to each other. It was a dead giveaway, I mentioned Don was in the room, and I asked Danny to leave so I could talk to Mac alone. Well while u guys were out doing your thing, Mac and I well, u get the picture." she said. "Mac, I'm not good at words, I think u should tell them." she added.

Mac smirked and looked at her, unable to hide his amusement at her loss for words. "I think they got the picture, Stell, they are detectives, you know?"he pointed out.

Stella chuckled a bit. "Mac, I'm at a loss for words because it's u I have fallen in love with, and I never thought it would turn out that way. Being partners in the academy, coworkers, brother and sister, never did I think we could end up confessing our love to each other." she said.

Stella didn't back down. She leaned in and kissed Mac back. Yes, she did love him, and she knew it. "Mac Taylor, u stubborn pain in the ass, I love u, u know that?" she asked.

Stella laughed. "If I end up marrying this stubborn pain in the ass, that would make me a stubborn pain in the ass too, wouldn't it, Mac?" she asked.

Stella was shocked at Mac calling her Mrs. Taylor. "Mrs. Taylor huh? And to answer your question, Mr. Taylor, it is a challenge." she said smiling.

Stella laughed. "U know, in all seriousness, Mac, I'm glad this is happening. While u and I were talking, I thought to myself, who would be a better life partner for me than u? And I said to myself, no one. There's no one that could be a better life partner for me than u." she said.
